Buffalo Broccoli Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head broccoli
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

  2. Break the head of broccoli into bite-sized florets.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy milk, flour, and a pinch of salt.

  4. Dip the broccoli florets into the flour mixture and arrange them on a baking tray.

  5. Bake the broccoli florets for 10 minutes. Remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  6. In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, chili, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  7. Dip the partially baked broccoli florets into the spicy mixture, coating them evenly.

  8. Arrange the coated broccoli wings on the baking tray and place them back in the oven for another 10 minutes.

  9. Once done, serve the Buffalo Broccoli Wings immediately and enjoy!
