Buffalo Cauliflower Wings


  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce
  • olive oil
  • for batter:
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tsp of pink himalayan salt
  • 1/ 2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of cumin
  • for breading:
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp of pink himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp of paprika
  • 1/4 tsp of coriander
  • 1/4 tsp of oregano
  • 1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°, remove core from cauliflower head and gently pull apart to form pieces

  2. Place the pieces of cauliflower onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes

  3. Once time is up remove cauliflower from oven, and allow to cool for 5 minutes

  4. Combine all batter ingredients in a medium sized bowl and combine all breading ingredients in another medium sized bowl

  5. Pour olive oil into a medium sized pot to about 1 to 2 inch depth, heat to 350°

  6. Dip cauliflower pieces into batter and roll until covered then place into breading and roll until covered

  7. Place into oil and fry for two minutes each side or until golden brown

  8. Remove and place on drying rack

  9. Repeat process until finished, then double batter and double fry pieces for extra crispyness, place pieces back onto a drying rack for 1 minute

  10. In a medium sized bowl pour buffalo sauce and roll wings in sauce until completely covered
