Cheezy Turmeric Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 250 grams kale (1 large bunch), chop and remove stalks
  • 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes or cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp himalayan salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees c

  2. Add chopped kale to large mixing bowl

  3. Drizzle with olive oil and gently massage through the kale

  4. Add spices and gently mix through

  5. Spread kale in a single layer on a greased and lined baking tray (you may need to bake in 2 batches)

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until crispy, turning occasionally

  7. Allow to cool slightly, serve and enjoy

  8. Add salt and pepper to taste
