Chocolate Chai Matcha Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews.
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut.
  • 1 tsp mixed spice.
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves.
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
  • 1/4 tsp salt.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  • 10 medjool dates (pitted).
  • 4-5 tbsp iswari cacao powder.
  • iswariireland_uk matcha powder to dust.

Preparation

  1. Blitz the cashews and coconut in your food processor until they form a light crumb consistency

  2. Add the spices, salt, vanilla extract, dates and cacao powder and blend for a couple of minutes until the ingredients begin to stick together and form a dough

  3. Roll the dough into bliss balls (as small or large as you like)

  4. Place some matcha powder in a bowl and roll the bliss balls in the powder to form a coating

  5. Coat the balls thinly or thickly in the matcha powder according to your taste preference

  6. Store refrigerated in an airtight container
