Chocolate Chai Matcha Bliss Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews.
- 1 cup desiccated coconut.
- 1 tsp mixed spice.
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves.
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg.
- 1/4 tsp salt.
- 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- 10 medjool dates (pitted).
- 4-5 tbsp iswari cacao powder.
- iswariireland_uk matcha powder to dust.
Preparation
Blitz the cashews and coconut in your food processor until they form a light crumb consistency
Add the spices, salt, vanilla extract, dates and cacao powder and blend for a couple of minutes until the ingredients begin to stick together and form a dough
Roll the dough into bliss balls (as small or large as you like)
Place some matcha powder in a bowl and roll the bliss balls in the powder to form a coating
Coat the balls thinly or thickly in the matcha powder according to your taste preference
Store refrigerated in an airtight container
