Cinnamon Apple Pie Oats Delight

Ingredients

  • Porridge oats (desired amount)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Lots of cinnamon
  • 1/2 an apple, grated
  • Raisins
  • Protein powder (optional)
  • Water or milk (to mix)
  • 1 apple (the other half)
  • Tiny bit of coconut oil
  • Maple syrup
  • Cinnamon
  • Almond butter

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together the porridge oats, chia seeds, a generous amount of cinnamon, grated half apple, raisins, and protein powder if using.

  2. Add water or milk and stir until everything is well mixed.

  3. Cover the oat mixture and place it in the fridge overnight to let the flavors meld.

  4. Alternatively, you can heat the mixture on the stovetop until it thickens.

  5. Cut up the other half of the apple into small pieces.

  6. In a small pot, combine the apple pieces with a tiny bit of coconut oil, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  7. Stir and cook until the apple pieces become slightly browned and soft.

  8. Once the oats are ready, top them with the warm cinnamon apple topping.

  9. Sprinkle more cinnamon on top and add a dollop of almond butter.

  10. Enjoy the delightful contrast of cold oats with the warm and flavorful apple topping!
