Classic Hummus with Tahini and Lemon
Ingredients
- 2 cans of garbanzo beans
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 juicy lemon
- 4 tbsp of tahini
- sea salt
Preparation
Drain the garbanzo beans and wash under cold water.
Fill small pot with water, the garbanzo beans and bring to a boil.
Set aside to cool.
In a blender: add garlic, tahini and lemon and blend.
Slowly add in garbanzo beans without water and blend. Keep adding one spoon at a time until all blended.
Add few tbsp of water to keep it creamy.
Continue blending the hummus mix for about 4-5 minutes.
Season as you go.
Optional: add ground beef or lamb for garnish.
