Classic Hummus with Tahini and Lemon

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of garbanzo beans
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 juicy lemon
  • 4 tbsp of tahini
  • sea salt

Preparation

  1. Drain the garbanzo beans and wash under cold water.

  2. Fill small pot with water, the garbanzo beans and bring to a boil.

  3. Set aside to cool.

  4. In a blender: add garlic, tahini and lemon and blend.

  5. Slowly add in garbanzo beans without water and blend. Keep adding one spoon at a time until all blended.

  6. Add few tbsp of water to keep it creamy.

  7. Continue blending the hummus mix for about 4-5 minutes.

  8. Season as you go.

  9. Optional: add ground beef or lamb for garnish.
