Cold Silk Tofu with Citrus Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 spring onion
- 1 tsp ginger
- 400g cold silk tofu
- 1/2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tbsp orange zest
For the sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation
Heat up soy sauce, mirin, and rice vinegar in a pot and bring to a boil.
Remove the pot from the stove and mix in lemon juice and orange juice.
Set the sauce aside and let it cool down.
Chop the ginger and spring onion into tiny pieces.
Zest the orange and lemon.
Slice the silk tofu into slices and arrange them on plates.
Sprinkle ginger, spring onion, lemon zest, and orange zest on top of the tofu slices.
Pour the cooled sauce on top of the tofu.
Serve the dish cold.
