Fresh Crispy Vegan Harissa Falafels Sticks ? Served with Basil Pesto

Ingredients

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • • 1,5 cup chickpeas, cooked
  • • 3 teaspoon red pesto
  • • 1 teaspoon harissa spices
  • • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • • 1 teaspoon chili spices • 3 tablespoon flour (or buckwheat flour if you want them gluten free)
  • • Zest and juice from 1/2 organic lemon

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small food processor, roll in breadcrumbs as small round falafels. Heat a saucepan of vegetable oil, filled only half way high over, or fry on a normal pan. Once hot fry the falafels 2-3 minutes until golden
