Homemade Tagliatelle Pasta from Scratch

Ingredients

  • 150g flour
  • 150g wheat semolina
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 150ml water

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together and knead well

  2. Add a bit more flour or water if needed, the dough should not be too sticky

  3. Form a ball and cover with a kitchen towel

  4. Let it sit for 15 minutes

  5. Roll out the dough to desired thinness

  6. Cut out the tagliatelle with a knife or pasta machine

  7. Let the pasta dry for about thirty minutes either on a flat surface or hanging them (they will not get hard like store bought pasta)

  8. Cook in boiling water for about two minutes
