Homemade Pasta

Ingredients

  • 150g flour
  • 150g wheat semolina
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 150ml water

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together and knead well.

  2. Add a bit more flour or water if needed; the dough should not be too sticky.

  3. Form a ball and cover with a kitchen towel.

  4. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

  5. Roll out the dough to the desired thinness.

  6. Cut out the tagliatelle with a knife or pasta machine.

  7. Let the pasta dry for about thirty minutes, either on a flat surface or hanging them (they will not get hard like store-bought pasta).

  8. Cook in boiling water for about two minutes.
