No-Bake Healthy Caramel Bars
Ingredients
Biscuit base
- 70 gm oat flour
- 50 gm ground almonds
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 3.5 tbsp coconut oil melted
Caramel layer
- 140 gm dates
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp plant-based milk
- sprinkle of salt
Chocolate coating
- 150 gm dark chocolate melted
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients of the biscuit base and press the mixture in a loaf tin lined with baking paper and put it in the freezer while making the caramel.
Add all the ingredients of the date caramel into a food processor and blend until smooth, then spread the caramel over the biscuit layer and freeze again for 1-2 hours.
Slice into 10 bars, dip each into the melted chocolate, place on a board lined with baking paper and chill in the fridge until the chocolate is set and enjoy.
