Raw "Garlic Mashed Potatoes"


  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 raw head of cauliflower, roughly chopped
  • 1 large or 2 small parsnips, peeled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 crushed garlic
  • water (as needed)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


  1. Fresh or dried rosemary (optional) ?Directions: ?Throw cashews, salt, and pepper in a food processor and grind till powdery

  2. Put cauliflower, parsnips, lemon, garlic and nutritional yeast in the bowl and blend, adding some water in a thin stream if you need to in order to facilitate blending

  3. Stop frequently to scrape the bowl, and add 1 tbsp sesame oil for a creamy texture (this isn’t at all necessary, but will give it creaminess)

  4. Stop blending when mixture becomes very smooth and consistent
