Refreshing Mango Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe mango, cubed
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 2-3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Juice from one lime
  • Sprinkle of salt

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together the cubed mango, minced shallot, minced garlic, diced red pepper, diced jalapeno, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a sprinkle of salt.

  2. Let the salsa sit for a bit to allow the flavors to come together.

  3. For even better flavor, refrigerate the salsa for an hour before serving.
