Soy Glazed Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
- 1/2 block tofu (cubed)
- 1 onion
- 1 paprika
- rice noodles of choice
- 2 cloves garlic
- sesame seeds
Sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- juice of half a lime
- optional: 1 tsp maple syrup
Preparation
Cook the noodles according to package instructions.
Add some oil and chopped onion to a pan.
Cook until golden, then add finely chopped garlic, tofu, and paprika.
Cook for 6-8 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients and the cooked noodles.
Toss and stir everything, and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
Serve with fresh cucumber and sesame seeds.
Notes
This recipe serves 2 and takes about 10 minutes to make.
