Soy Glazed Sesame Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 block tofu (cubed)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 paprika
  • rice noodles of choice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • sesame seeds

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • juice of half a lime
  • optional: 1 tsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions.

  2. Add some oil and chopped onion to a pan.

  3. Cook until golden, then add finely chopped garlic, tofu, and paprika.

  4. Cook for 6-8 minutes.

  5. Add the sauce ingredients and the cooked noodles.

  6. Toss and stir everything, and cook for 2-3 more minutes.

  7. Serve with fresh cucumber and sesame seeds.

Notes

  1. This recipe serves 2 and takes about 10 minutes to make.
