Soyfree

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dry white northern beans
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp [maple syrup]
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)

Preparation

  1. Soak beans in filtered water overnight. The next day, rinse, and refill with new water for 24 hours or until beans are soft enough to bite into them

  2. Rinse beans again, and add 1 cup filtered water & beans in a blender

  3. Puree while slowly adding remaining water (if you add all water at once the beans won't puree) until smooth, adding more water if necessary

  4. Strain milk and pulp through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth a few times, pressing beans to remove milk. (you can also use a fine strainer)

  5. Add, sea salt, and [sweetener of choice] to taste (and vanilla if using) and blend ✏️Chill and store in refrigerator. Will last 2-4 days
