Strawberry Basil Tart
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup coconut oil
- pinch salt
- basil tart filling:
- 3/4 cups soaked cashews
- 3 t oat milk
- 6 t maple syrup
- juice of lemon
- 5 t coconut oil
- 15 large fresh picked basil leaves
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together. If too dry, add coconut oil until dough forms
Press crust into a tart pan and bake 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees
In a food processor blend all ingredients except coconut oil and basil
Melt coconut oil
Stream in coconut oil slowly to the rest of mixture
Roughly chop basil leaves, and toss into food processor
Blend until smooth
Pour the filling into the tart and refrigerate for an hour
