Tawa Rava Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 large plantain/aaratikaya cut into round slices
  • 1 tbs of Rice flour
  • 2 tbs Sooji/ upma rava
  • 1 tbs chilli Powder
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 1/2 tbs garam masala
  • 1 tbs cumin powder
  • 1/4 tbs turmeric powder
  • Handfull of corrinder leafs
  • 3-4 tbs of oil

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients to sliced plantains and coat well

  2. You should be coating this only by using oil not water

  3. Heat a tawa drizzle some oil and assemble the plantains as shown and roast on medium flame until crisp on both the sides

  4. You would need some patience too make this dish

  5. I was like assembled them on tawa came back to work for 10 mins and then went back to kitchen flipped to other side and came back to work post 10 mins again went into kitchen for flipping by the time they were super crispy

  6. I finished half of them before serving for lunch itself
