Veg Hakka Noodles

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons of garlic
  • 1 cup of chopped spring onion
  • 1/2 cup of colored bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • wheat noodles
  • Broccoli
  • corns
  • carrots
  • bell peppers
  • baby corn

Preparation

  1. Veg Hakka Noodles- I used the organic whole wheat noodles @24mantraorganic

  2. Boil it in water and little oil

  3. As soon as they are half cooked, wash them under cold water and spread them on a big tray/ plate so that they don't stick together

  4. Take little oil in a wok, heat it and add 4 teaspoons of garlic, 1 cup of chopped spring onion, 1/2 cup of colored bell peppers , 1/2 cup carrots, 1/4 cup cabbage

  5. Cook them on a medium heat so that the veggies are crunchy and not completely cooked

  6. Add soy sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce and green chilli sauce as per your taste

  7. Also add salt if required because the sauces contain enough salt

  8. Toss the noodles in the wok and garnish it with spring onions

  9. You may also add Schewan sauce if you wish to

  10. Vegetables in Hot Garlic Sauce- Chop veggies of your choice, the more the merrier ? I used Broccoli, corns, carrots, bell peppers, baby corn

  11. Toss them in little oil with some garlic till they are crunchy and then add soy sauce and @chingssecret Schewan sauce

  12. I added brown rice flour slurry (brown rice flour+ water) to make it little thick

  13. Add red chilli and green chilli sauce as per your taste

  14. Also add some water to adjust the consistency

  15. Mix and cook it for 15 min at a low flame

  16. The sauce will become little thick

  17. Switch off the stove, garnish it with spring onions and serve hot with noodles
