Viral Vegan Smash Burger Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked lentils
- 1 flax egg
Seasonings
- few dashes salt
- few dashes pepper
- few dashes garlic powder
- few dashes onion powder
- few dashes smoked paprika
Toppings
- tortillas of choice
- chopped tomato
- shredded lettuce
- pickles
Sauce
- vegan mayo
- ketchup
- mustard
- garlic powder
Preparation
Mash the cooked lentils well.
Add the seasoning and flax egg to the lentil mixture and stir until sticky.
Form 2-inch balls from the mixture.
Flatten each ball onto a tortilla.
Pan-fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
Assemble with toppings and sauce as desired.
Tips
The mixture adheres well to the tortilla, with only a small amount possibly falling off during cooking.
