3 Ingredient Raw Vegan Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup of dates (pack them down)
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs(optional)
- 1 tbsp coconut shreds (optional)
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 cup hazelnuts
Preparation
Method: (makes 8 small brownies)
Measure the dates and pack them in there so it’s a tight fit, also make sure to remove the pits! Then place into a bowl and fill with hot water. You want the dates to soften up so leave for 5 minutes, then drain
Add the softened dates, cacao powder, coconut oil, coconut, and cacao nibs into a food processor. Pulse till you get a good texture that can be molded
Scrape out mixture into a pan and flatten the brownie so it’s all even. If using to big of a a pan use only half of it so the brownie has some height (2 inches)
Place the brownie into the fridge while you make the frosting
Place all the frosting ingredients into the food processor and blend till you have a smooth texture that is fluffy and spreadable. If you need to add more maple syrup or milk to make it more sweet you can
Spread the frosting evenly onto the brownies and then top with cacao nibs and coconut if you want! Keep in the fridge for 1-2 hours before cutting it up and eating
Keep in fridge till you finish them off
