Almond Butter Spirulina Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons SpiraVeg Freeze Dried Spirulina
- 2 cups cubed mango (fresh or frozen)
- 1 frozen banana (sliced)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk such as coconut or almond milk (check to make sure they are Gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 small handful of fresh spinach
Optional additions
- 1/2 cup yogurt (optional, note that dairy yogurt affects vegan status)
- Unsweetened coconut chips
- Gluten-free oats
- Chia seeds
- Cocoa nibs
- Additional almond butter
Preparation
Place all the main ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth or desired texture.
Optionally add yogurt before or after blending.
Top the smoothie with desired toppings such as unsweetened coconut chips, gluten-free oats, chia seeds, cocoa nibs, or additional almond butter.
