Baked Brie with Bruschetta Topping
Ingredients
- 1 brie cheese wheel
- 1 roma tomato
- fresh chopped basil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
Preparation
Heat oven to 400°F and bake the brie cheese for 15 minutes or until it feels soft when gently patted.
While the brie is baking, prepare the bruschetta mixture by combining chopped tomato, basil, garlic, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
Add the bruschetta mixture to the brie and bake for an additional 3 minutes, or add it after baking.
Serve with crostini, crackers, or a fresh baguette.
Tips
This appetizer tastes great whether served warm with the topping baked on or with chilled topping added after baking.
