Banana and Figs Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 50 g whole grain rolled oats
  • 250 ml water or milk of choice
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • figs
  • additional banana pieces
  • fig jam

Preparation

  1. Cook the basic oatmeal by mixing 50 g whole grain rolled oats with 250 ml water or milk of choice and a pinch of salt in a pan until all liquid is absorbed.

  2. Mix the cooked oats with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and half a mashed banana.

  3. Top the mixture with some figs, more banana pieces, and some fig jam.
