Bowl of Beany Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • Beans, lentils or a meat replacement
  • 400g tomato passata or chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Pinch of chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • A big splash of milk

Preparation

  1. Fry the onion in a frying pan for five minutes

  2. Add the garlic and fry for another minute

  3. Add the beans/lentils/cooked fake meat and spices. Fry for a minute

  4. Add al the remaining ingredients and leave to simmer until the sauce is thicker (about 5-10 minutes)
