Cacao Ginger Walnut Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 8 walnuts
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • Plant-based milk (e.g., Rebel Kitchen Semi-Skimmed)
  • Good chunk of fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 date
  • 1 banana
  • 1 heaped tbsp I heart pumpkin and chia seeds super protein powder
  • Cacao nibs

Preparation

  1. Place walnuts and pumpkin seeds in a blender cup, cover with plant-based milk, and let soak for as long as possible, though it works fine without soaking.

  2. Add a good chunk of fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon of cacao powder, 1 date, 1 banana, and 1 heaped tablespoon of I heart pumpkin and chia seeds super protein powder.

  3. Cover with more plant-based milk, such as Rebel Kitchen Semi-Skimmed.

  4. Blend until smooth.

  5. Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cacao nibs.

  6. Enjoy!
