Cacao Ginger Walnut Smoothie
Ingredients
- 8 walnuts
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- Plant-based milk (e.g., Rebel Kitchen Semi-Skimmed)
- Good chunk of fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 date
- 1 banana
- 1 heaped tbsp I heart pumpkin and chia seeds super protein powder
- Cacao nibs
Preparation
Place walnuts and pumpkin seeds in a blender cup, cover with plant-based milk, and let soak for as long as possible, though it works fine without soaking.
Add a good chunk of fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon of cacao powder, 1 date, 1 banana, and 1 heaped tablespoon of I heart pumpkin and chia seeds super protein powder.
Cover with more plant-based milk, such as Rebel Kitchen Semi-Skimmed.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses and sprinkle with cacao nibs.
