Chickpea Dumplings
Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpea flour⠀
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander⠀
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin⠀
- 1 teaspoon cayenne⠀
- 1 teaspoon sea salt⠀
- 2/3 teaspoon garam masala⠀
- dash of water to create a batter consistency
Preparation
Before you begin, boil some water in a pot. Start out by combining all dry ingredients, and add 1/4 cup of water and stir until you have a soft dough consistency. Transfer the dough to a cutting board, roll this into a log, and evenly cut your dumplings. Plop (gently) your dumplings into your now boiling water, and lower the heat and leave to simmer without a cover. Cook for 15-30 minutes until firm. ⠀
