Chili and Sesame Green Beans
Ingredients
- Green beans
- 5 cloves garlic
- 2 red chillis
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Preparation
Add the garlic, red chillis and red pepper to a food processor and blend into a paste.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and add the paste. Sauté for a minute on a medium heat then add the green beans, mix in with the paste evenly and sauté for 3 minutes on a high heat.
Add 1 tsp sesame oil and salt to season and sauté, then remove from the heat and garnish with sesame and extra chilli if desired.
Tips
This dish doesn’t take very long at all, and we like to keep the greens crunchy so it really doesn’t need much cooking.
