Here are the ingredients for the milk bread. 1/2 cup cake flour, 3 1/2 cup of AP flour, 2/3 cup heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, 1 large egg, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 pack of active dry yeast, 1 1/2 tsp salt. Proof twice. 350F oven for 15 mins. I use @kingarthurflour AP flour because it has a higher gluten than my generic grocery store AP flour. You can use bread flour too. If you don't have cake flour ( I usually don't buy them unless I'm making a few cakes), don't go out and buy a bag just for the bread. For the 1/2 cup of cake flour you need for the recipe, put 1 tsp of cornstarch in the bottom of the 1/2 cup measuring cup, then top it off with AP flour. Voila! cake flour! That's what I used for this bread and it works perfectly every time. Save the shelf space for something else. It's prime real estate. ? Now you can go make some filled buns with this dough or just go
