Chocolate Covered Spelt Waffle
Ingredients
- 1 cup spelt flour
- 1 cup soya milk
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- Pinch of pink salt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon rapeseed or coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Mix the milk and vinegar together and let sit for 10 minutes to make buttermilk.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and add the buttermilk, vanilla, and oil.
Whisk until you have a batter.
Cook in your waffle machine for 10 minutes or bake in a waffle mold at 200°C for 10-12 minutes.
