Chocolate Covered Spelt Waffle

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 cup soya milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • Pinch of pink salt
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon rapeseed or coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Mix the milk and vinegar together and let sit for 10 minutes to make buttermilk.

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and add the buttermilk, vanilla, and oil.

  3. Whisk until you have a batter.

  4. Cook in your waffle machine for 10 minutes or bake in a waffle mold at 200°C for 10-12 minutes.

  5. Top with organic chocolate spread
