Classic Homemade Baba Ganoush Dip
Ingredients
- 1 eggplant
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp tahini
- Sea salt
- Black pepper
Optional garnish
- Mint
- Pomegranate seeds
- Sumac
Preparation
Cut the eggplant in half and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes until soft and cooked through.
Cool for about 10 minutes.
Scoop out the eggplant flesh and add mashed garlic clove, lemon juice, and tahini.
Season with sea salt and black pepper, then mix well with a fork until all ingredients are combined.
Serve with pita bread or vegetable sticks.
