Crispy Ginger Spiced Biscuits with Almonds

Ingredients

Dry

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsps ground ginger
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp slivered almonds

Wet components

  • 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 heaped tbsp almond butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet components until well combined

  2. Roll the mixture into balls and flatten them out; they should be quite thin for a crispy, snappy biscuit

  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden on top

  4. Leave to cool
