Crispy Ginger Spiced Biscuits with Almonds
Ingredients
Dry
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsps ground ginger
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
Wet components
- 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp almond milk
- 1 heaped tbsp almond butter
- 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet components until well combined
Roll the mixture into balls and flatten them out; they should be quite thin for a crispy, snappy biscuit
Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden on top
Leave to cool
