Decadent Choc Maca Hedgehog Slices
Ingredients
- • 1/2 cup coconut butter, melted
- • 1/4 cup favourite nut butter (I use peanut)
- • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder • 2 tbsp maca root powder
- • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or rice malt
- • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- • pinch of pink or fine grain salt
- • 3/4 cup raw walnuts, roughly chopped
Preparation
To Create: • Combine all ingredients (except the walnuts) in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. • Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl & stir in the walnuts. • Line a large square loaf pan with baking paper. • Scoop the mixture into the pan and spread out until even
Sprinkle with some desiccated coconut, cacao nibs or extra nuts and pop in the freezer for an hour or until solid (or pop in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until a blunt knife comes out clean)
Remove from pan, slice into your desired serving size
