Easy Homemade Tzatziki Yogurt Dip
Ingredients
- 2 cups unsweetened yogurt
- 1 medium cucumber
- 4 cloves roasted garlic
- 2 tsp dried dill
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Roast the garlic by peeling the cloves, trimming the hard ends, wrapping them in aluminum foil, and baking in an air fryer at 320°F for 20 minutes or in a conventional oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Peel the cucumber and slice it in half lengthwise.
Use a spoon to scoop out the watery seeded center of the cucumber.
Dice the cucumber into small pieces.
Mix the diced cucumber with the unsweetened yogurt, roasted garlic, dried dill, lemon juice, ground pepper, and salt to taste.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld better.
