Easy Oatmeal Cookies with Flavor Variations

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 flax egg
  • 1/3 cup plus 2 tbsp of raw almond butter
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Add-ins

  • chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp of maple extract
  • cranberries
  • pinch of allspice
  • raisins
  • cinnamon
  • chai spice mix

Preparation

  1. Split the cookie base and add chopped walnuts, 1/2 tsp of maple extract, cranberries, and a pinch of allspice to one portion, and raisins, cinnamon, and chai spice mix to the other portion.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 13-15 minutes.

  3. The cookies will be chewy and delicious.
