Easy Tofu Tacos with Avocado and Cilantro

Ingredients

  • Tofu
  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot flour or cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Tortillas
  • Purple cabbage
  • Cilantro
  • 1 avocado
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk of choice

Preparation

  1. Dry and press the tofu.

  2. Dice the tofu.

  3. Toss the diced tofu in 2 teaspoons arrowroot flour or cornstarch, 2 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic, salt, and pepper.

  4. Sauté the tofu for 4-5 minutes per side.

  5. Prepare avocado sauce by mixing 1 avocado, juice of 1 lime, 1 jalapeno, 3-4 tablespoons milk of choice, salt, pepper, and garlic.

  6. Add the sautéed tofu to tortillas along with purple cabbage and cilantro.
