Fresh Jicama Tostadas with Guacamole and Sesame Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 large jicama
  • 1-2 avocados
  • 1 tomato
  • green onions
  • cilantro
  • lime juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1-2 carrots
  • water from one coconut
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • onion powder
  • garlic cloves
  • juice of one lime

Preparation

  1. Slice the jicama into rounds.

  2. Mash 1-2 avocados with tomato, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper to make guacamole.

  3. Grate 1-2 carrots.

  4. Blend water from one coconut, 1/2 cup sesame seeds, onion powder, salt, garlic cloves, and juice of one lime until smooth to make the cream.

  5. Assemble by adding guacamole, grated carrots, and the cream to the jicama rounds.
