Chunky and Creamy Guacamole Dip

Ingredients

  • 5 ripe avocados
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • A handful of cilantro
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Preparation

  1. Smash the avocado with a fork in a big bowl or on a plate, as it tends to be the easiest way and I like the consistency better than using a food processor.

  2. Finely dice the shallot and tomato and chop the cilantro.

  3. Add the shallot, tomato and cilantro to the smashed avocado.

  4. Mix with a fork until everything is homogenous.

  5. Add paprika, salt, pepper and mix again.

  6. Add the juice of half a lime or more if you prefer.

  7. Mix to incorporate the juice.

  8. Serve with a garnish of cilantro.
