Fried Garlic and Cilantro Arab Topping
Ingredients
- Garlic cloves
- Salt
- Cilantro
- Olive oil, ghee, or butter
Preparation
Mince or pound garlic cloves with salt.
Chop cilantro.
Fry garlic first for a few minutes without browning.
Once garlic almost starts turning color, turn off heat and add cilantro.
Mix until cilantro wilts.
Add to your dish.
Tips
Palestinians traditionally fry in ghee or butter, but olive oil works well too.
