Ginger Spiced Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup almond meal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsps ground ginger
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
- add these dry ingredients to-
- 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp almond milk
- 1 heaped tbsp almond butter
- 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup
Preparation
Mix until well combined; roll in to balls and flatten them out. Should be quite thin for a crispy, snappy biscuit. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden on top and leave to cool
This makes a small batch as I was experimenting with the recipe but am really happy with how they turned out - perfect tea dunkers
