Ginger Spiced Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsps ground ginger
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp slivered almonds
  • add these dry ingredients to-
  • 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 heaped tbsp almond butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons of maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix until well combined; roll in to balls and flatten them out. Should be quite thin for a crispy, snappy biscuit. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden on top and leave to cool

  2. This makes a small batch as I was experimenting with the recipe but am really happy with how they turned out - perfect tea dunkers
