Healthy Nutrient Rich Raw Bars

Ingredients

  • 200g raw almonds
  • 200g pitted dates
  • 50g cranberries
  • 50g goji berries
  • 50g raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp ceylon cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Plan ahead and soak your raw almonds over night or minimum 8h prior

  2. After rinse almonds well, set aside to dry

  3. Get all ingredients ready, you will also need food-processor with bowl & s-blade to mix everything

  4. Put in bowl cutter all ingredients and let the cutter work its way through till dough has been formed, then move mixture into another mixing bowl, check the consistency is even & binds well together, give also taste try & see if you are missing anything or want to add, perhaps more seeds or other nuts, your choice

  5. When you are finally satisfied with the taste, texture & all senses are awaken, then you know you got it

  6. Now you can form your raw bars , using mold made from silicon or steel, to be accurate you can use scale to measure your size or just shape them conveniently to fit in your travel case

  7. Sprinkle extra cinnamon or cacao on top to give more nutrients to your self
