Homemade Granola with Nuts and Seeds

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup halved lightly salted almonds
  • 1/3 cup chopped raw cashews
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons flax seeds
  • 5 diced medjool dates
  • 1/3 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup craisins
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • Agave syrup or pure maple syrup (to taste)
  • Ground cinnamon (to taste)

Preparation

  1. Mix the granola mixture with agave or pure maple syrup until combined, then spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. Sprinkle cinnamon and additional sweetener over the top.

  3. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes, keeping an eye to prevent burning.

  4. Allow to sit for 30 minutes before enjoying.
