Homemade Granola with Nuts and Seeds
Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup halved lightly salted almonds
- 1/3 cup chopped raw cashews
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 3 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons flax seeds
- 5 diced medjool dates
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 cup craisins
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- Agave syrup or pure maple syrup (to taste)
- Ground cinnamon (to taste)
Preparation
Mix the granola mixture with agave or pure maple syrup until combined, then spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle cinnamon and additional sweetener over the top.
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes, keeping an eye to prevent burning.
Allow to sit for 30 minutes before enjoying.
