Homemade Peanut Chicken Satay Sauce
Ingredients
- 50g crunchy peanut butter
- 30g honey
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 50ml water
- 80g finely diced onion
- 1 garlic clove
Preparation
Mix everything in a small bowl and taste it while adding the soy and water to ensure it's good, adding a bit more water than you think you need.
In a frying pan, slowly soften really finely diced onions and garlic until they are a bit jammy.
Then toss in the peanut butter, honey, and soy mixture and keep stirring on medium to low heat until it thickens up, then leave it on a super low heat until ready to use.
