Homemade Peanut Chicken Satay Sauce

Ingredients

  • 50g crunchy peanut butter
  • 30g honey
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 50ml water
  • 80g finely diced onion
  • 1 garlic clove

Preparation

  1. Mix everything in a small bowl and taste it while adding the soy and water to ensure it's good, adding a bit more water than you think you need.

  2. In a frying pan, slowly soften really finely diced onions and garlic until they are a bit jammy.

  3. Then toss in the peanut butter, honey, and soy mixture and keep stirring on medium to low heat until it thickens up, then leave it on a super low heat until ready to use.
