Indulgent Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 2 t. cinnamon from @mountainroseherbs
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1 t. ginger from @mountainroseherbs
  • 2 cups @bobsredmill flour

Frosting

  • 3 T butter
  • 4 t. milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 t. vanilla

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Cream butter, sugar, and pumpkin well

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients except the flour

  4. Add flour by hand and stir until well mixed

  5. Drop spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet

  6. Bake 12-14 minutes

  7. Let cool ten minutes

Frosting

  1. In a saucepan on low heat, melt butter, milk, and brown sugar

  2. Stir slowly until melted

  3. Once melted, remove from heat, and stir in powdered sugar and vanilla

  4. Spread onto cooled cookies and enjoy
