Malaysian Peanut Cookies
Ingredients
- 250g butter or margarine
- 3/4 to 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup custard powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup roasted and finely ground peanuts
Preparation
Sift the flour, custard powder, and baking powder together.
Mix butter, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla essence until well combined.
Add the sifted dry ingredients and ground peanuts; knead to form a dough.
Shape the dough using a mold.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown and cooked through.
