Traditional Malaysian Peanut Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 g margarine or butter
- 3/4 to 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup custard powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ground roasted peanuts
Preparation
Sift the flour, custard powder, and baking powder together.
Mix the margarine, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla essence until well combined.
Add the sifted dry ingredients and ground peanuts, then knead the dough and shape with molds.
Bake until cooked.
