Easy Ant Nest Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon yellow food coloring (optional)
- 1 tablespoon powdered milk (optional)
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation
Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks and vanilla essence, stir until combined.
Add powdered milk and custard powder, stir until combined.
Gradually add cornstarch, all-purpose flour, and baking powder, sifting them first.
Knead until it forms a dough that does not stick to hands.
Refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes if desired.
Shape the dough into paper cups using a small spoon.
Bake the biscuits in the oven at 160 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes.
Tips
Shape the dough a little at a time into the cups for better texture and to prevent it from becoming lumpy.
