Chocolate-Filled Strip Cookies
Ingredients
- 125 grams butter, softened at room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup starch (corn or potato)
- 1 egg
- 2.5 cups sifted flour (adjust based on brand)
- Optional: very little vanilla or lemon zest
Preparation
Mix the butter and powdered sugar together.
Add the remaining ingredients in order to form a soft dough.
Roll out the dough between sheets of baking paper.
Shape the dough with a fork, or cut it with a glass or mold as desired.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes.
After cooling, spread chocolate spread between the cookies.
The cookies are ready to serve.
