Irresistible Homemade Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- A poppyseed baguette (leftovers)
- A couple of heaped teaspoons of Margarine (e.g., Vitalite)
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 1 heaped tablespoon dried parsley
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
Slice the poppyseed baguette, making sure not to cut all the way through.
In a small bowl, combine the margarine.
Grate the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.
Add the dried parsley to the bowl as well.
Mix all the ingredients together until the parsley is evenly distributed throughout the margarine.
Place a chunk of the margarine mixture into each section of the sliced bread. There's no need to spread it into each slice, as it will melt down while heating.
Place the prepared garlic bread in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. For crispier garlic bread, you can leave it in the oven for a little longer.
