Layered Pb&j Smoothies

Ingredients

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice

Jelly Layer

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries (or any berries of your choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp milk (add more if needed)

Preparation

For the Peanut Butter Layer

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen banana, peanut butter, rolled oats, and milk.

  2. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if necessary to achieve a desired consistency.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a jar and place it in the freezer.

For the Jelly Layer

  1. In the same blender, combine the frozen strawberries, vanilla protein powder, chia seeds, and milk.

  2. Blend until smooth, adding more milk if needed.

Assembly

  1. Take the jar with the peanut butter layer out of the freezer.

  2. Pour the jelly layer mixture on top of the peanut butter layer.

  3. Enjoy the layered PB&J smoothie!
