Morning Oats
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats (gluten free
- if needed)⠀ ◦ 1 cup unsweetened flaked coconut (large flakes)⠀ ◦ 2/3 cup almond flour⠀ ◦ 2/3 cup macadamia nuts
- halved if large ⠀ ◦ 1/4 cup ground flax seed⠀ ◦ 1/4 cup coconut sugar⠀ ◦ 1/3 cup coconut oil⠀ ◦ 1/3 cup pure maple syrup (plus more
- if needed)⠀ ◦ 2 tsp vanilla extract⠀ ◦ pinch salt (optional)⠀ ◦ 2/3 cup diced dried mango (preferably unsweetened)⠀ ◦ 2/3 cup diced dried pineapple (preferably unsweetened)⠀
Preparation
Begin by preheating your oven to 300F, and line your baking tray with parchment paper
In a bowl, combine your oats, flour, nuts, flaxseed, coconut sugar and coconut oil, syrup, and vanilla altogether
Mix well, and spread unto baking tray when ready
Pop into the oven for 25-30 minutes, and mix in your dried fruit as well as any other fruit that you want to add
