Mushroom Coconut Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut cream
  • flour
  • oil
  • mushrooms
  • thyme
  • a punch of nutmeg
  • salt n pepper
  • cook pasta as per packet directions

Preparation

  1. In a pot, start frying mushrooms

  2. Once about 1/2 way cooked, add around 2 tablespoons of flour and cook out the raw flour taste for an extra 5 minutes

  3. Add coconut cream and all seasonings

  4. Stir well, turn down low and cover

  5. Let it cook for 15 minutes until the mushroom flavour has infused with the coconut cream

  6. Stir cooked pasta through the sauce and serve
